Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful color! I love blue inks, and have quite a few. While looking through the vast number of different blue inks I couldn't make up my mind what to get next. That is when I noticed Noodler's blue. Wondering why I had never order blue before getting some of the more exotic blue colors, I ordered a bottle. I couldn't be happier with the color! I've refilled my every day Noodler's Ahab fountain pen with it three times so far. Great color, and good contrast. (It isn't a light blue, which I sometime fine harder to read with my older eyes.) If you love blue inks, be sure to try Noodler's blue, along with whatever other blue colors you might desire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Blue Color I am always looking for the PERFECT blue color of ink. This is a great true blue color. All of Noodler's primary colors are great. True basic primary colors. Even though I have 20 different blue inks, I am still searching for the PERFECT blue...aren't we all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Middle of the Road Blue This blue is an interesting color. It's not quite a dark blue like blue-black, and it's not quite a teal. It's a blue that's in between the two colors. I'm very fond of this color because its a very vibrant blue, and definitely draws its attention on whatever you write. Before buying a bottle, definitely try a sample. It may not be for everyone, but I find it to be a very unique and enjoyable color to write with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Blue! This is a striking, beautiful, very pure blue color, and a well-behaved ink. I think it's a smidge darker and richer than the lubricated Eel Blue version. Also, unlike Eel Blue, regular Noodler's Blue has pretty decent water resistance! Soaking will fade it, but it leaves a stain you can still read. This has become my all-around favorite blue ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's BLUE! I've been told that I am afflicted with the disease of "More". I can't just have one great, or even one good blue ink? I've got to have MORE!!! Hence, Noodler's Blue. IMO, like PR American, but with more snap. A little less vivid than LibertyE, but with none of it's benefits. And, when I'm too scared to fill a pen with, "the ink whose name must never be spoken", Noodler's Blue will do just fine. Oh, BTW? it's really, really, really a cool Blue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bottle of blue ink for a beginner! Bough this ink with my first set of Noodler's pens, and I have to say that this bottle seems to last an amazingly long time. With the amount of trial and error I have put into tinkering with my pens, I thought I was fore sure going to need to order more and soon. To my surprise, nope! It's quite a deep, dark, and saturated blue color. I use mostly cheap paper, but it is also that way on Clairefontaine paper as well. Deep dark blue, almost black at times. The other great thing I found out about this ink is that you can dilute it with water, and stretch out the supply even longer! Great for a guy on a budget, and I do love saving money! :D.... yes, I realized I just put a smiley face on an ink review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Noodler's Blue Nice basic blue, tending a bit toward green. Very cheerful color. Shades nicely, but like many Noodler's inks it's a bit slow to dry, especially on non-absorbent paper like Rhodia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice blue, sometimes with a tinge of green This is a saturated blue with, to my eyes, a slight touch of green under some artificial lighting conditions. In daylight, however, it's almost cerulean. Shows some shading. Not waterproof at all, but performs so well in terms of flow and lubrication that it has become one of my favorites.
