Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great on Monteverde Invincia and Jinhao I got an Invincia, and while it's beautiful, I was never very keen on the nib. With this replacement, I'm falling in love with it for the very first time! I want one for every pen I own that uses a #6 nib!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works pretty well in my Jinhao x750 This nib narrows a bit more than a standard #6, as well as widens faster toward the shoulders. This results in a bit of a tight fit into my Jinhao, but not prohibitively so. I got it in there and it does, in fact, successfully write well with and without flexing in there. I need to try some more flex-friendly inks (Stormy Grey probably doesn't do it justice due to the particulates breaking up surface tension a bit, I think). I was surprised at how hard I had to press to flex the nib, but again, this could be due to the fact that I crammed it into the Jinhao. I found it to be a touch scratchy, but a fun, inexpensive novelty nib for the time being.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just brilliant to have these Having loved my Konrad, it didn't take me long to destroy the nib on the inside end of the cap by failing to seat it deeply enough into the feed/collar. (Actually, it was my amateurish attempts to repair it that really killed it.) Having written to GPC asking if replacements were available only about 2 months back, I am so glad these have now come online. Mine got to Australia quickly, and is loaded in my Konrad. So good to have my beloved flex pen back! Works a treat as before. Thanks, Nathan Tardif, for releasing these nibs as a standalone item. Loving it with Diamine Ancient Copper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Jinhao pens-love them more now ! It took only minutes to swap out the nibs in 4 Jinhao pens. I had 2 x450's and 2 x750's - I put a Noodler's Steel non-flex and a flex in my 450s and 750s. So I have each nib in both models. The non-flex gives a much finer line than the Jinhao nibs. As for the flex nibs, I have had so much fun with the flex nibs in both the 450 and 750. I was an easy swap and all 4 are working great without any problems.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Semi-flex at best.... I bought this to replace one I damaged when my pen rolled off the table. It's an unexpressed rule that all falling fountain pens MUST land nib-first. I had modified my nib nicely to nearly a full-flex, as I will this one as well. As it arrived, it is a semi-flex at best, but even that is better than the "nails" that are all that is otherwise available today. These Ahabs are designed with the tinkerer in mind, and I'm still looking for that perfect balance of nib modification, nib/feed positioning relative to each other, nib/feed positioning relative to the section, the right ink, to provide as close to that vintage flex experience as I can. It's the journey that's the fun! If you're into flex, or even just curious, grab an Ahab and clean it right out of the box and start playing! Can't hurt to have an extra nib and feed on hand, either!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some love them, some don't. I do. I love these nibs, but in the past there were no replacements. You bought an Ahab or Konrad, and you had the nib in the pen. But I have a) damaged two and b) always wanted to put them on other pens. So now, finally, there are replacement nibs. Yay!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These work perfectly! I ordered two nibs and tried them both out. They're exactly like my existing Ahab flex nib... but brand new. Now I can do some mods without worrying about ruining my only nib. If only they'd sell extra feeds!
