The paper is worse than I expected
I watched several videos from Brian and the bullet journal website. It was my understanding that the paper in the Leuchtturm is decent, described as somewhere between Clairefontaine and Moleskine. Based on this I purchased the Maser Slim, only to find the paper has a problem with bleed through. I am quite disappointed with my purchase. I tried several inks and pens and found the best success with Quink in my Parker 51. Feathering isn't really an issue, but the bleed through makes it very annoying to write on both sides of the page unless I am careful about which pen I write with. In all honestly my Moleskin performs better. When Brian said this paper is better than a Moleskin, I thought I was safe, but I guess not.

These are my favorite notebooks.
I use these notebooks for drafting my books and essays. I write exclusively with fountain pens--of a wide variety, and with whatever ink strikes me--on both sides of the paper. I've never had an issue with feathering or ghosting. I wonder if the difference between myself and other reviewers is our writing speed? Perhaps they're slower or more heavy handed? In any case, I'll never use a Moleskine again. There are other fountain pen friendly papers I love more (Tomoe River, Rhodia), but not in these sizes with this kind of binding. These are wonderful. There's plenty of room for annotations, etc., and the index pages are so helpful.

I purchased this notebook a week ago and only recently had the chance to write in it. I love the notebook, there are no feathering issues. I do not write on both sides of the paper, but there is some bleed-through which may cause problems for other users.
