Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works good with my Lamy Clear Vista (s) I'm an Architect & like to see how things are constructed; therefore, I purchased several clear Lamy Vista pens. The first was in an emergency & had the converter with the red top. It was a little distracting. So when I purchased the 2nd pen I bought the black topped converter (Z26) with it. The red converter is filled with the new Super5 "Frankfurt" which is a waterproof medium brown gray color for sketching with watercolor overlay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lamy Z26 Fits Parkers Someone had asked Brian if a Parker converter could be used in a Lamy pen, to which he replied yes, but why, since they cost more. True. But when I read this, I then tried fitting a Lamy Z26 which I'd gotten with a Lamy Logo pen into a new old stock Parker Rialto I'd bought as a gift. A Parker converter in the Rialto was a tight fit for some reason when I tried screwing the barrel back on. There was no clearance problem with the Lamy Z26. I pulled water into the pen to flush it, and the Z26 did not leak. So, if you want a converter at half price for your Parker, it looks like a Z26 will fill the bill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lamy cartridge and service review I haven't had much time to use the converter because I don't care for the ink sample I ordered to try the converter. The converter seems fine. I love the Lamy Safari and the service Goulet has offered is tremendous! I ordered a pen for my brother for Christmas and the nib had no slit! I called Goulet as soon as my brother and I determined that there was a problem and they sent a new nib immediately (on Dec 23rd) and he received it on the 26th in Montana with 2 trial vials of ink. I am sold on Goulet. Lamy are great pens and Goulet is the best. In fact I'm going to order some more nibs and ink. Go Goulet!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Low capacity, but that's to be expected It's a converter. There's nothing super about it, but it is reliable and it does its job well. I highly, highly recommend buying this if you have a Lamy pen and are only using cartridges at the moment. This converter allows you to use any bottled ink out there, which is where half the fun in fountain pens lies! Get this converter, grab 4-5 samples, ink up your pen, and have fun! Careful, though, it's addicting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Z26 Converter The Vista gets a lot of attention as the main beneficiary (among the lower end Lamy pens) of the Z26. I ordered this for my Lamy Safari and I find it just as advantageous over the Z24. The "smoked" plastic housing of the Z24 does not make very good use of the ink window that Lamys have, making it hard to see the ink level. The clear plastic on the Z26 fits the bill perfectly for this purpose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good in Lamy Vista As Brian pointed out in one of his videos, the Z26 works fine in the Lamy Vista, even though it's not specifically designed for it. It has a more classy appearance than the Z24. Four stars instead of five because it's hard to get excited about a converter :) Also, there's the familiar annoyance of a tiny bit of ink getting trapped in there and being hard to clean out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice converter Works, fits well. Not made for Safari/AL-Star according to Lamy, but fits just fine. Doesn't snap into the Safari section the way the Z24 does.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not very robust. The Z26 looks better than the Z24 in the Safari Vista pen. I also use these in my Studios. Like the Z24 they are not that robust. I frequently get leaks and I saw the screw come out of one of these the other day leaving someone with PR Spearmint coloured hands.....You need them because Lamy need their own converters, but I'd have a spare to hand.
