Lamy Studio Fountain Pen - Imperial Blue, Medium is rated 4.7778 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the propeller like clip! I got this pen for Christmas using some Goulet Gift Certificates. First of all, I love the ¤minimalist-likeĊ’ and tapered design. The pen is nicely weighted while capped and has nice balance while writing without the cap (which I try to do with all of my pens to prevent scratches to the barrel). I love the clip design. It resembles a propeller to some degree with its distinctive twist from flat to on end. It's a very pleasing shade of blue in a matte finish, with a chrome section that is easy on the fingers. I got this pen in a 1.1 nib as I have a bit of an obsession with italic and stub nibs. I can now interchange this nib with my other Lamy pens whenever the whim strikes me! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lamy Studio - Imperial Blue I received my pen just a few days ago, it writes wonderfully, the nib is as smooth as butter, and the finish is very beautiful... I am a high school music teacher, and I've turned some of my students from ballpoint pen users to fountain pens.... Gouletpens.com is prompt and very professional, I will continue to do business exclusively with them. Thanks for your wonderful customer service, and prompt delivery.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Pen I'm not very good with pens so I'll give my basic impressions. The pen is hefty for starters. It isn't like my TWSBI. I also find that because I have oily-ish hands, my grip sometimes slips. It writes well and I haven't had had it stop on me. Overall I like this pen. It's functional enough for my day to day use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern Elegance The Lamy Studio was one of my first fountain pens so I'm always looking to add others to my collection. The Imperial Blue Studio is very striking and has a very smooth finish and substantial weight. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Pen This is my first fountain pen, I based the purchase first on reviews from the Goulet team and then reading the reviews on this pen here. It seemed like a good middle of the road first purchase and I haven't been disappointed. This is a solid elegant pen. I love the matte blue metal finish. It feels great in the hand. It writes well and looks sharp both while using it and when its just laying around on my desk. Warning though: If you are an old school pen user who likes to hold your pens way down by the nib, be aware that the end by the nib has an inch stainless steel band, which looks awesome, but if your hands get a little moist you could notice a little bit of slipping in your hand. I don't fault the pen design at all, because if I remember correctly its recommended that as you start to use a fountain pen that you move your fingers up a little higher away from the nib, so you don't have a tendency to press harder. So either you can do that or just be prepared to dry your fingers every once in awhile to keep a firm grip on it. All and all - awesome fountain pen and a really reasonable price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value This is my second Lamy Studio, and I bought this one primarily for the color - and because the pen is a good solid workhorse that I often use. Not at all disappointed.
