INK SAMPLE - Noodler's Air-Corp Blue-Black is rated 4.6757 out of 5 by 74.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Green is the new blue If you use a fine nib like I do, you won't really notice any color, although that imperceptible touch of color really makes it pop off the page when alongside, for example, plain black inkjet printer ink. When you apply it with a swab or (I imagine) an italic nib, you'll see a faint hint of blue... or is it green? It looks green on my Rhodia paper but blue when I wiped it with a paper towel. Good flow, cool color name, dries surprisingly fast for a Noodler's ink (about 7 seconds for me). One star removed because there's a million blacks and this isn't the ultimate black, nor is it the ultimate blue-black because it's not even blue sometimes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice step up in ink I had been using Private Reserve Sonic Blue ink for the last few years, a decent to very good ink. I was looking to get something different. A good friend who has used Noodler's ink before recommended I look into Noodler's ink. I like Blue/Black and I went ahead and bought 2 bottles. this is a great ink. A couple of dollars more than the Private Reserve, but I think it is worth it. I have it in3 of my 4 pens and they are writing smooth and the color is magnificent. Purchased from Goulet Pens and they shipped the bottles fast and the packaging was solid. I highly recommend Noodler's Ink and the Goulet Pen Company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Bit Green... I love this ink. I got the 2ml sample a few days ago, and I'm nearly finished with it already. It has beautiful coverage, although it does go on a bit wet. I generally prefer wet inks, though, so it's a good thing in my eyes. Give it some time to dry, like most Noodler's inks I've used, but other than that, it's just about the perfect ink. It's not, however, a blue-black. It's definitely more of a deep blackish-green. I expected this when I got it, so I was rather thrilled, but it could be a disappointment if you're looking for a true blue-black.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the color I'm a newbie, and bought a Jinhao 450 and a couple of ink samples, as well as a Goulet Medium Nib. I LOVE the color of this ink. It is very dark, but the blue comes through on any kind of fast stroke through the letter. However, and I don't know if this is the ink or the operator, I seem to have some flow control issues. Sometimes I get tons of ink, and have blotting problems. Other times I get my nib drying out. I might need to upgrade my converter a bit though as I bet it is some kind of loading or connection problem I am having. I do like this ink and would buy more of it in the future for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice almost-black ink I love the color, I have a thing for almost-blacks, they have the same more formal feeling of black, but with a slight hint of some other color, which makes them that much more interesting ;) This ink is no exception, it has blue-greenish hue to it, which I find rather nice. The flow is very nice, and I haven't experienced any significant feathering and maybe a slight bleedthrough. I have used it in the Noodler's flex pen, and I found it a bit slow drying, but the nib is very wet, so that maybe shouldn't be considered. Overall a great ink, at a great price, and the bottle is full to the brim ;)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First uses of Noodler's Ink Air Corp BlueBlack I chose this BlueBlack as my new every day business ink for my Realty office work. Combined with a new Taccia fine nib pen, I find this ink is a high performer. Wet enough to floe effortlessly, but dries quickly on the page, be that 20lb copy paper or 80g Rohdia tablets (the later is slightly less accepting). The only negative was the bottle was filled to the rim and I got a little splatter on my sweater. Operator Error, but since the bottle is dark glass, you can't see how full it really is so be fore warned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite ink... I love this ink. It flows well, and the color's dark enough to use it in a professional setting. In my drier-writing pens it looks like a green-black, and my wetter pens let more of the blue come out. On good paper it has enough shading to make it interesting without being distracting. And if it gets wet, the color washes away but the black stays legible. If they ever stop making this ink, I shall cry... and then I'll buy the Goulets' entire remaining supply of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strange colour As can be seen from the swab, this ink is an interesting shade of blue/grey/green. From the EF nib that I'm using, the grey and green are most prominent. Under certain light and from a distance the fine line can be mistaken for black. I haven't tested the water resistance or other durability myself. As for behaviour, I've seen no feathering or bleedthrough on any paper (I mostly use cheap notebooks) and the pen starts when I do. Hard to ask for more than that.
