Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb ink I own a lot of ink. It occupies a shelf in a built-in bookcase in my office. I have tried many brands, but my favorite is Diamine. The reason for this is simple: the blues. I can think of no other ink maker that features as many quality blue shades as Diamine does. I don't own all of them, but I own so many I feel I have the blue spectrum pretty much covered. My favorite is Majestic Blue, which is a vibrant deep blue. Perhaps the most unusual blue is China Blue, which corresponds well with what any sports fan might call Carolina blue. Sapphire Blue is a long-time favorite of many and writes with a purplish hue before drying to a true blue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great daily blue. I got this in the 8 pack random sample kit. I like this as a daily use ink. It is a nice moderate hue blue. It is not a true blue black but also not a bright blue. I would place it just over the middle between the two. It dries well and looks good. This would make a really great daily use pen if you like blue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from China Blue i like this ink. It's not quite as light as the swab picture on my computer but it is a beautiful clear blue, not too green or too purple. It is very similar to a color called Canton Blue that is seen on Canton china. It works well in my creaper flex pen. There is little feathering on very cheap computer paper and none on good paper. There is lots of shading and the ink is slightly wet which I like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Medium Sky Blue! Not exactly sure why this is called China Blue, but it is quite the pleasant hue of blue. It goes on like a medium, fairly common blue and dries to a pleasant, soft darker sky blue - just what I was looking for. I'll most likely get a bottle at some point. Flows very nicely in my Noodler's Ahab.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Subtle blue I bought two sample of Diamine's China Blue. After loading it into two different pens, EF and a BB, I knew this would become one of my 'go to' blues. This shade of blue is as close to denim as I've seen. Great compliment to my Kaweco, Stonewashed Blue FP.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Starts well but fades Nice mid-blue that is slightly towards turquoise (away from the violet spectrum). Flows evenly and dries quickly BUT the pigment isnt stable, it fades quite noticeably on the paper (used on lined school book & Rhodia dot) after a few days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Diamine China Blue Ink I like this color very much. It is a beautiful blue that reminds me of the Ming Dynasty vases that were exported to and then copied by Europe. It is especially soft and dries much lighter when used with a wide calligraphy style nib.
