Edison Nouveau Premiere Fountain Pen - Nightfall (Winter 2018) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most beautiful Nouveau Premiere to date I just received this beautiful pen. I have several Nouveau Premieres, and this is by far the most beautiful. The detail in the resin is incomparable. Althought the pictures are awesome, they do not convey the awesome layers of varying colors in the pen. It is unbelievable. I bought the 1.1 nib, which is my favorite Edison nib. It is as smooth as the others. I love this pen. Diamine Arctic Blue is a wonderful match, by the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nightfall...What a perfect name for this material! OK, I'll admit it. I'm an Edison Nouveau Premiere junky. I have the whole collection of seasonals...and more. But it's because it's a fantastic pen. It's comfortable. This nibs are well tuned, always! I prefer broads for personal reasons. But I also have 1.1mm and medium nibs. They always write smoothly, with just a touch of feedback. They are wey, but not too wet. This pen will look great with Diamine Earl Grey or Graphite. Marine, or J. Herbin Emerald de Chavor will look great, too. It's beaurtiful. As always, the Goulets made a wonderful choice in material. Yes, the price went up $20. That's because Edison Pen Co., after 9 years of not raising their prices ever, has finally seen the need to do so. But it's still a handmade pen. And $169 is a hard price to beat for a hand made pen that is finished so well. You won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, Gorgeous Pen Just got my Nightfall 1.1 mm stub today, and I have to say the resin is amazing. Like bits of mother of pearl inside, with some glitter, tons of chatoyance showing through the depths of the resin. Pearlescence, opalescence, chatoyance, sparkles, you name it. The photos at Goulet capture the colors in this pen perfectly, but they cannot show the transparency and translucency and amazing depth of this resin when you see it in person. Perfectly shaped, polished, finished, and fitted. My second Nouveau Premiere, I got the 2017 Arctic Currents, and these pens fit me very well and write perfectly. I have six Edison pens now, and love every one of them. Inked it up with General of the Armies and it is a great writer. I would have regretted not getting this pen or its mate, the Frost version. I will always regret not getting the Majestic Pen Winter edition from several years ago. I drool when I look at that pen. When they are gone, that's it. Highly recommend any Edison pen, and any Nouveau Premiere in particular. Don't let it slip away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful The material on this pen is beautiful, lots of depth and just nice to look at. It writes well, all of the threads are buttery smooth, and the fit and finish is great as always from Edison. Thank team Goulet for another great shopping experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peace with nightfall You'll likely find the peace I did with Nightfall, as its serene cover motif combines with its gentle perforkmance. It's a good pen, perfectly catching a vernal nightfall, for any hour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful This pen is gorgeous and the steel fine nib is extremely smooth. It is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Highly recommend it. Goulet’s service is the best too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nightfall, but not enough night This pen is quite a looker. I realize it’s a matter of taste, but I think it would look even better with a black nib and clip. It contrast itself even more from its lighter twin.
