Edison Nouveau Premiere Fountain Pen - Frost (Winter 2018) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from White with little black and white flecks. Just like snow in New England. This pen is gorgeous. I put Diamine Early Grey ink in it. A perfect match. Of course, the pen is very comfortable for those with big or small hands. I have large hands and prefer a larger pen. But this is truly comfortable. And the material is lovely. I think Ice would have been another great name for it. It is truly white with black and white flecks of material in it. It's a wonderful addition to my collection of Edison Nouveau Premiers. As always, the Goulets made a wonderful choice in material. Yes, the price went up $20. That's because Edison Pen Co., after 9 years of not raising their prices ever, has finally seen the need to do so. But it's still a handmade pen. And $169 is a hard price to beat for a hand made pen that is finished so well. You won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Favorite Pen! This is the most expensive pen that I own to date and I absolutely love it. My specific pen is a little more gray than the pictures show. I guess every pen is a little different. At first I was a little put off by that, but the pen has seriously grown on me. I think it looks beautiful, it feels high quality and the seams are hard to find (though not impossible). It feels like a piece of artwork that also writes like a dream. The steel nib is almost as smooth as any gold nib I have written with, so it doesn't seem necessary to upgrade to the gold nib. If you like the looks of the pen and don't mind taking a small risk as to how your specific pen will turn out, then you will not be disappointed in buying this pen. Go for it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pen; great nib. Works amazingly well. I have fallen in love with Edison pens. I especially love the snub nibs and own two Edison Nouveau Premiere pens and two Edison Pearlettes. These pens are always friendly and trouble free and the very best investment for your pen dollar. I urge anyone who is wary of investing a bit more money in a pen to save up to try an Edison. The 1.1 stub nib is magnificent. They are immediately gratifying to work with and don't need elaborate coaxing such as some pens do to write the first times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just beautiful! Super pretty marble of the white, black and gray. Writes like a dream, and also very comfortable to hold in the hand. One of my new favorites.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Easily Stained Filled it up with some bungubox ink of witch. Pick it up and the cap and body are now permanently frosted purple. Tried amodex et al to no avail. Anyone else have this problem?
