Edison Beaumont Fountain Pen - Sapphire Flake is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 48.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Pen. Amazing Service. The pen had arrived very quickly.. But when I had gotten it, the nib was EXTREMELY scratchy. I tried to fix it myself, but failed miserably. and even after 1-2 weeks of having the pen, goulet sent me a new nib free of charge along with 2 ink samples. Goulet Pen Company probably has the greatest customer service out there. And now about the pen. It's a decently light pen, but in no way cheap feeling. The nib is smooth with a decent amount of feedback. I wouldn't call it just a bit like some others do. This pen is also about a 6-7/10 wetness and NEVER has a problem with skipping. The feed keeps up with any writing speed. Overall an amazing pen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Great Edison Pen The Beaumont is a great new addition to the Edison Production Line. It is my second favorite (right behind the Collier). I love the design of the pen with the black accents and black section. The cap band looks terrific and really adds to the appearance of the pen. Mr. Gray's decision to use the larger #6 nib on this smaller pen really showcases the fountain pen nib nicely. The Belmont posts better than any other Edison Pen in the production line. I don't like to post my pens, but this in not a problem since pen body itself is about the size of a Pelikan M200 uncapped. Bottom line... this is a superb pen. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this pen! This pen exceeded my expectations. I was torn between getting the blue or the red, but ultimately went with this one. I have not regretted my decision! I love the flakes in the finish. When you turn the pen, the sparkle in the flakes reflect light, and as you turn it, some of the flakes retreat into the black and stop being visible, and some flakes come forward and shine. It's hard to describe, but it's the coolest effect I have seen! The pen is a bit smaller and lighter weight than I had expected, but that's to its advantage. It is so incredibly comfortable to write with. This pen has become one of my favorites!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful This pen is a lovely object to behold, to hold, and to use. The photographs don't quite capture the sense of depth and varied reflection seen with the eye in the flakes. The surface is polished to a satiny gloss that is not slippery and a tactile pleasure. The nib is also lovely, flowing smoothly and responsively. My only negative would be that I find the section tapered a bit more narrowly than I would find ideal, but with the cap posted (which does NOT cause balance or weight distribution issues) I grip a bit higher than I might otherwise, but once I do it feels fine. I love my pen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beaumont - Bedrock Flake - Extra fine nib This is a beautiful pen. The extra fine two-tone nib is lovely and smooth. I prefer dry pens, but this one writes slightly wet by my scale. However, the ink does not bleed on standard laser printer paper, using Noodler's Blue-Black. I prefer pens in the size range of the Pelikan M600 series and this one is slightly smaller in diameter. It reminds me of my Conway Stewart Dandy. It is a pleasure to use and I am tempted to buy another in a different finish.
