Rated 5 out of 5 by Matt A from The Orange I've Been Waiting For I like orange inks, but I find them to often be too bright for daily use. Autumn Oak is the first orange that is vibrant enough to still be called an orange, yet understated enough that it isn't blinding. It is a lovely, rich orange with hints of red and brown undertones. It really is, as the name might suggest, quite autumnal. It behaves well on premium paper, but feathers/bleeds pretty heavily on inexpensive paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CharlieHorse from This is it! I was looking for an ink in the yellow-orange-red range with great shading, and a useable color for short notes. Apache Sunset was fun to play with, but too light. Ancient Copper was pretty, but too dark. Autumn Oak is perfect! It's a bright, gorgeous color, with plenty of shading. I expect it to be a long-term favorite. As with all of the Diamine inks I've tried, it appears to be well-behaved in the pens I've tried, and easy to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Samantha from Beautiful and Warm I love this ink, simply. I had been searching for a nice light and warm color to go with my Robert Oster Deep Sea-- and after three other hopeful samples I think I've found the perfect ink in Diamine Autumn Oak. It's light but warm, a lovely embodiment of Autumn. It looks lovely on all paper I've tried it on, and I am currently loving how it writes in my Lamy Vista. Beautiful ink, looks just as pictured in the swatch. I have not tested the water resistance of this ink so I've left my rating in the middle of the scale for that portion of my review. The dry time was relatively quick, and the ink is easy to work and shade with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dane from Fantastic color, great shading, wet. Apache Sunset killer This is everything I was hoping to get from Noodler's Apache Sunset but didn't. Color and shading is very similar to AS but flow is much better. It is wet and flows steadily. Dry time is very acceptable, but the wetness is what sets this ink apart from it's closest competitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Debi from Gorgeous colors! I tried Noodler's Apache Sunset hoping to get the shading and varied colors some people described in their reviews. I didn't get those things. For me, Noodler's was WAY too dry and difficult to use. With Autumn Oak, however, I get all the variations in colors and shading that I was hoping to get out of that other ink. Autumn Oak colors range from golden yellow to orange to red. If you wanted to put it down to one color, I'd have to say it was a deep orange. A true fall color. But it's really at least three colors. It flows beautifully and shades all over the place. I currently have it in a couple of pens, including an Indus flex pen, and the shading is gorgeous. This has become an everyday ink for me. I will buy it again when my current supply runs out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Le Grand Charles from Not just Seasonal I like warm color palate inks. Black and Blue are for work. Browns and Oranges are for me. This one fills a place between flat oranges like Diamine Pumpkin and wild ones like Apache Sunset. It shades really, really nice on FP-friendly papers, not so much on random office paper. I like the new 30 ml. plastic travel size. I hope the TSA does too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Krystalle from Beautiful, but don't spill on it I LOVE the colours in this ink. It goes on anywhere from pale yellow to dark orange and dries anywhere from pale orange to almost red. BUT it cannot stand up to water, at all. Not even a spilled drop from my water bottle or coffee. So while the colours are perfect for note-taking (dark enough to be legible, light and shading enough to be fun), I will not use it for that purpose, at least not notes I need or that need to be in a bag that may get rained on at some point. For my art, I will probably buy a full bottle at some point. It makes even quick doodles like thought out and gorgeous.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HalloweenHJB from Great Color for Autumn I really enjoy this ink —it's one of those "in-between" inks that grabs my attention because it's an unusual combination of gold, amber, and orange. It really does capture the color of oak leaves in the Fall very well.
