De Atramentis Apple Blossom (35ml Bottled Ink) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Stand-Out Color This is a great color -- enough contrast as an everyday writing ink, and enough pop to use as a highlighting pen. It's not outlandishly garish, but not too subtle that it looks washed out. One of my new favorites. Not crazy about the scent (smells more chemical than floral, to me), but it's light enough that it really doesn't matter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely understated ink Got this in the ink drop and ordered a bottle. The scent is very faint (have to get my nose right up to the nib to smell anything). The color is soft and a little dilute, giving good shading in my italic nib. Very pleasing gentle color. Very well behaved ink, flowed very well but not overly wet. A winner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ugh I got this as a sample from Ink Drop, and I am glad I did - now I will never risk getting a De Atramentis scented bottle without samplibg it first. It smells awful - a sort of chemical medicinal smell, reminds me of a nasty pink medicine they made me swallow as a kid. Who would ever think the smell of chemical smudge is apple blossoms? I gave two starts because the ink itself flows well, I am not crazy about the color, but there is nothing wrng with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Color, Great Ink I really enjoy this color. It's a really soft pink purple color, kind of dusky looking. On the one hand it's a color that is feminine and fun, but it has a great maturity about it and it's very easy on the eyes. Never had an issue with flow or clogging. A couple of times I have left t he cap off of my Sailor Clear Candy milk coffee (an MF tip, but writes like an extra fine) for too long and the tip has dried, but i gave it a light tap on my tongue or just scribbled a bit and it started right back up. Easy maintenance, fantastic color that's both fun and mature. All around great ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect rose pink After trying a sample, I immediately fell in love with this color and ordered it the very next day. Gorgeous classy rose pink, not bright at all, which would be great for journaling, love letters, etc. The scent is not overwhelming. I didn't notice any shading--I tried it with both M and 1.1mm nibs--but frankly it doesn't need since it's so beautiful. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A soft pink that is still readable. Many soft pinks are too light to be readable, this one is not. It is a bit mauve or rose, a bit on the purple side of pink. The scent only smells like apples if you put your nose right up to it and inhale enough chemicals that they can cause the effect, in which case you've done it to yourself. (Yes, I did it. Once.) Otherwise, the chemical scent is fortunately light enough to not be noticed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, a soft rose that is not too transparent! Several years ago, I bought a bottle of Private Reserve Shell Pink. I loved it from the moment I put pen to paper. However, when I ran out and tried to purchase another bottle, it had been discontinued. I've tried several other pink inks in the intervening years, but they were all either so pale that they practically disappeared on the page, or they were neon bright, or they were both transparent and bled through whatever I wrote on. I recently took a chance on De Atramentis Apple Blossom. It was love at first penstroke. The hue is softly muted and darkā€”no neon here. It verges on plum when it pools, but is primarily a soft rosy pink. The name really captures the color. This ink flows well enough that it doesn't skip at all in my Lamy AL-Star with an extra fine nib. It tends to bleed through a little on my Moleskine Bullet Journal, but produces no bleed-through at all in my Clairefontaine notebook, even when I go over a letter or word a few times or scratch something out. In short, this ink is lovely and I'm so glad to have found it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great ink Great ink. I love the product but I wasn't happy with the taxes fees for France. There was no warning about it and it was really expensive.
