After more than a decade since its original production run, the Stipula Etruria Alter Ego celluloid pen is back, with a modern twist, for a limited time at Goulet Pens.
The Stipula Etruria fountain pen has a large, commanding profile and a wonderfully comfortable grip. The rounded cap and barrel are hand-turned from solid rods of orange Italian celluloid. The Alter Ego celluloid itself is more than 20 years old. No longer in production and in extremely limited supply, this will be one of the last pens in which you will ever see this particular celluloid material offered.
The pen is complemented by gold-plated sterling silver accents, and comes with a 14kt gold nib in a variety of sizes. The clip is engraved with a single Stipula 'leaf' logo, and the four rings are added to the centerband to give it a more contemporary look. This fountain pen fills via piston mechanism (which turns in the opposite direction from most pens) and holds a large capacity of ink. It is made entirely in Italy, and comes packaged in a gift box.
The Stipula Etruria Alter Ego is limited to 88 pens, each individually numbered, and is exclusively available at Goulet Pens.
