Aurora is proud to launch a new Limited Edition Black Mamba Fountain pen with revisited guilloché "grana di riso" and 18kt black solid gold nib, with satin ruthenium trims.
Determination, speed of execution, and effectiveness are all aspects of the Black Mamba that inspired this pen. Intrigued by the color of the Black Mamba’s jaws and the texture of the Black Mamba’s skin, the inspiration was found for the guilloche pattern of the cap, barrel and bottom.
Manufactured in Turino, Italy, the Aurora 88 Black Mamba is one of the newest in Aurora’s line of limited edition, individually numbered fountain pens. Originally designed in the 1950’s, Aurora has spent the last 60+ years refining the 88’s timeless design. The nib is a heavily engraved 18k gold nib that has been plated in black, with a handturned ebonite feed.
The piston filler on this pen features Aurora’s exclusive Hidden Reservoir fill system, which gives you just a bit of extra ink so you don’t run dry mid-thought. When it is starting to run dry, just twist the piston knob a couple times to release the extra ink.
Each Aurora 88 Black Mamba comes in a beautiful gift box. Aurora only produced 888 of these pens and each one is individually numbered.
