Ink Review 

Supplies Used:

• LAMY with medium steel nib
• Rhodia No. 16 dot pad, 80g white paper
• Tomoé River 52 gsm white paper
• Leuchtturm1917 80g notebook

Smear Test (Dry Time):

• ~30 seconds – Dry time can vary depending on how wet the pen you're using is. Typically, around 30 seconds seems to be the average time to allow it to dry fully.

Drip Test (Water Resistance):

• Medium – It's not something that should be used for legal documents but it can give a nice effect with the slight color smearing that occurs when water touches it.

Saturation:

• Medium-High – The color can sometimes appear as a lighter, warmer brown, but it usually is more on the middle/darker brown scale where it's more saturated.

Ease of Cleaning:

• Moderate – It's not a tough ink but it is partially water-resistant and some intentional effort is needed to get your pen as clean as possible.

Shading:

• Medium – Colors can be seen from a lighter chocolate-brown to a darker, deeper brown.

Flow:

• Moderate – It won't gush out of the pen but flow shouldn't be an issue and it should be a bit more wet than dry.
