Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Unique Color I initially bought this back in Nov 2013 and it's been in daily use ever since then. I've used a half bottle already and it still amazes me every time I use it. I use it in my TWSBI mini with a fine nib on all sorts of quality (low or otherwise) at work and its flow and quick drying characteristic with minimal to no bleed through or feathering is superb and consistent. Its properties is true for almost all the Iroshizuku inks but this color is just "wow". I had to buy a new pen so I can use the other inks in my collection because this one is in permanent rotation...yes, it's that good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rich fuchsia, smooth as silk. This color caught my eye on the Goulet website, even though I was not looking for a fuchsia ink. I ordered a sample, and did a quick toothpick test. Liked the rich color, but thought, "but it's pink". So I put it aside. Finally put it in my Vanishing Point with a custom stub, and wrote a letter with it. Unbelievably smooth. This is a good nib, but I've never had it write so smoothly. The finished letter, on Clairefontaine white paper was beautiful. It did not look pink, but a much richer, deeper fuchsia. I will be purchasing this. Gorgeous bottle, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a sissy color I ordered this sample after seeing a hand written note from Drew at Goulet. It is a kind of pinkish purple and while I am afraid that men in the locker room will beat me up for using it, I just can't help myself. It is so smooth, perfectly saturated and an addicting color. If I continue using it I might just buy a pink dress shirt to wear to work as well. On a serious note BUY IT. This ink is now on my most favorite list.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this ink. I had a sample of this ink that I made last forever and I finally took the plunge last week and ordered a bottle to go along with a twsbi 1.1 nib. I had used the ink previously with a medium nib and loved the color but using it with the stub nib makes me really appreciate the quality and beauty of this amazing ink. it's truly worth every penny of the price in my opinion. the color is absolutely gorgeous and dries amazingly fast and the shading is so so pretty. as always the customer service was great. thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crimson Glorious Yes this ink is super expensive but it is a great ink. The ink is quite dark and almost has a bluish hue to it upon drying which gives the ink a more sober, serious feel that one wants when writing every day (as opposed to novelty or fancy writing tasks). It does dry super fast , so smudging is not an issue. It is unusual, elegant and pleasing to use. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved the gold sheen Although it was a bit expensive, it was worth it. it's a lovely, smooth fuchsia colour with a gold sheen (shows up on good paper) ^•^

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Such a variable ink color! This is a lovely shade of dark rose to burgundy, but shades nicely to even an medium pink. As with all of the Pilot inks I have tried (7 to date), it writes very smoothly. Yama-budo does seem a bit "wetter" than other P.I. inks and does not give as much nib feedback as I get from my other Pilot inks. This dries moderately quickly (about 8 seconds). This is not a water resistant ink, but does leave a pink shadow behind when subjected to water. It does have a nice sheen in an ink drop. Most of my pens are very receptive to this ink, and does not bleed through or feather on most better papers - the exception being cheap notebook paper which has some bleed through and definate ghosting on the back. Overall a very nice, but expensive, ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rich colour, amazing behaviour This ink is amazing, I bought this as a gift to my sister and she loves it. The colour is very beautiful, its a deep rich purple-red-pink which really pops when you put it down on some paper. The behaviour is very good as well, flows supreme, dries quickly and no feathering that I could notice. All in all an amazing ink as usual from the Iroshizuku line.
