Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful color, average properties First, i have to say that the service here is amazing. Communication & shipping kept me relaxed that my product is safe and i was free to just be excited until it arrived. About the ink: The color is amazing, kind of a red/orange, very light but noticeable. The flow is superb, and for a red ink it cleans out quit easily. Feathering is noticeable. Only on super smooth paper i can get a clean line. Don't get me wrong, you have to really look on a clairefontaine paper to see the feathering, but it's there. Also a bit of an issue with bleeding, but i've seen worse. To summarise, I'll be using this ink for outlining, not for writing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my favorites I love this ink. I mean, I LOVE this ink. It screams for attention no matter where you put it, and the color is just...wow. Really smooth papers are best for showing off the subtleties of color - orange with a suggestion of pink or melon - and there is nothing better for writing an eye-catching note. It is probably too intense for the usual business setting, and reading a full page written in the color may be tiring, but I happily write my to-do lists in it each day. And it is perfect for writing in the margins of notes or papers (note-taking for students, grading for teachers). I give it my highest recommendation!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty neon orange with pink undertones I really like this orange and the free pen it came with. I'm not sure if it's the pen or the ink (or both) that write really wet but saying that, it does dry relatively fast. I experimented by doing about 2 parts ink with 1 part distilled water and I was able to get more of the pink to show up, but was a lot lighter than full strength. Over all a great color if you want your writing to be noticed or to draw with. The great thing is, if you're not entirely thrilled with the ink, you get a really nice free pen. You can almost think of it as buying the pen and getting free ink!! (I took off a star because I wish it had more shading, especially into the pink tones but I still love this color and use it almost daily)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vivid! This is a very vivid orangey red with cerise undertones. It is not for the faint-hearted! If you write a full side of paper with this ink your eyes are unlikely to forgive you! This ink is perfect for corrections, underlining, making things stand out. As a previous reviewer said this ink is perfect for marking. I have yet to have any trouble with it feathering, it dries reasonably quickly (within seconds) and, whilst not (as far as I am aware) in the "bulletproof" range, it withstands a certain amount of dampness without being washed off the page. Wouldn't let it near a Caesin pen, nor any of my more precious pens - I have it in a TWSBI 530 clear pen so I can see the faboulous colour of the ink as I use it. Top notch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So, what is it...? At my pen-and-ink maniacal home, we couldn't even decide yet what the color of this ink is... something like blaze orange behind a hot pink veil? It is amazing for drawing, but writing with it feels like yelling, somehow. I've done an elaborate doodle of a dragon with it, and it (the dragon) seems to jump out at you, real ferocious. Great flow, quite wet, hardly any shading - but then there's so much else going on... The included free eyedropper pen is a real joy, and its fine, slightly flexy nib makes it a near perfect sketch pen - it will probably carry Noodler's Black!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Service! Excellent Product! This is the first time I have purchased Noodler's Ink. It is a wonderful product, rich color excellent flow, and I love the straight forward no frills approach of the Noodler's company. Also, all parts, from top to bottom are Made in America. I have been pleasantly surprised with the Goulet Pen Company, a real treat to work with. Shipping was prompt and the little touches when you open your box just take it to the next level. Will definitely be ordering from them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dragons Napalm Name is pretty accurate. Very bright and saturated. Wouldn't recommend for pages upon pages of journal writing as your eyes may start to bleed, but it works great on work related documents that I sign and date by the hundreds. Color definitely stands out so I can quickly tell which I have and have not autographed yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from bought it for the pen but fell in love w/the ink Figured I'd spend $21 on a pen and get free ink... ended up inking the pen with the dragon's napalm and fell in love with the color. The ink is wet and smooth. It will run if water gets on it, but with a q-tip you can make some interesting designs with it. The shading goes from yellow to orange to almost a feint pink... I typically like purple/blue and green inks but this is the first orange ink I've really enjoyed. Definitely recommend even if it is just for the pen (I hope the ink grows on you too hehe) ;D
