Do Lamy Pens carry any sort of warranty?
All Lamy pens sold in the US carry the following warranty:
Lamy pen warranties its writing instruments for the life of the product**. If repair is required other than from abuse or misuse, then for a small handling and return postage charge of $9.50 per pen. Lamy products will repair, refurbish, and return any Lamy instrument. If other parts have been abused, there will be a special charge. Otherwise, there are no labor or parts charges.
**The Lamy warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized service and the use of other manufacturers refills or inks.
How do I go about getting my Lamy writing instrument repaired?
You will have to send your pen to our repair center in Connecticut for evaluation (United States Customer Only), please be sure to follow these instructions.
We request that you return your writing instrument in a protective box or package that will ensure its safe delivery. To prevent leakage's please remove the refill or cartridge of your pen before shipping to us. Also, if you are using the US Postal Service we would suggest you write "Hand Cancel Only" on the outside of the package to minimize damage from postal machines. Please note that we cannot be held liable for products lost or damaged in shipping on their way to us, therefore we advise sending via UPS or FedEx. If you would like to use the Postal Service, you should send your package via Registered or Insured Mail.
Enclose a brief note in your package with the following information: Today's Date, Your Name, Daytime Phone, Email Address (if applicable), Your Return Address, Style or Model of Pen (if known), Nature of Problem, and whether your pen has any sentimental value or customization.
You will need to include a check or money order for $9.50 per pen, made payable to Lamy Pen USA (please do not send cash). This is only to cover postage and handling back to you.

How long will it take my pen to get back?
For normal warranty repair, your writing instrument should be repaired within 3 to 4 weeks of its receipt by our repair department.

Namiki Emperor, Yukari and Yukari Royale Collection writing instruments are unconditionally guaranteed against failures due to faulty materials or workmanship throughout their life with the original owner. The balance of Namiki and premium Pilot product collections are guaranteed against mechanical failure for a full 3 years from the date of purchase, with the exception of the Pilot Knight and Ageless Collections which have a 1 year guarantee.*
Leads, erasers and ink refills, exhausted in the course of normal use, are excluded from this Guarantee. Also excluded are fountain pen nibs and other parts damaged from impact, unreasonable use, obvious misuse or abuse. We recommend that you use Namiki inks and Pilot refills, leads and erasers to ensure proper long-term functioning of your writing instrument.
In the unlikely event that you experience a mechanical failure with any Namiki writing instrument, we will repair it or replace it without charge. If repair is required, please send your writing instrument to:
