De Atramentis Black Edition - Black-Green (35ml) is rated 4.1111 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Intriguing color This ink is fascinating. It continues to draw my attention and that of others. With extra fine and fine nibs it is a warm very deep green. With a medium nib the black characteristic comes out. I would think more so on a broader nib. It shades from medium green to dark green to almost black. And I love it. Others do too. I have used it in a number of pens and it behaves well and cleans easily. I use Clairefontaine and Rhodia white papers and Rhodia R cream colored paper. It performs as you would expect on white paper and on cream colored paper it shines. Not all colors work on shaded paper, this excels. It is a sophisticated color with a hint of emotional darkness. It makes you think, why haven't I done this before.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Deep, rich ... color, but I didn't like that it is really black on paper. I was hoping for a deep rich green appearance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Dark Green I purchased this ink because I was looking for a darker green to add some variety from my Noodler's Green. This ink is a beautiful, deep evergreen color. DA inks have great flow & lubrication, & this color is nicely saturated. A bit pricey, but with great characteristics.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Stuff I really like the very deep rich dark green of this ink. Only draw back with it is that I use a Japanese B nib and the ink bleeds through cheap/regular paper. Great on Rhodia/Clairefontaine. Not waterproof either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deep Forest Green Reminds me of the Crayola crayon 'Forest Green'. This brand of ink is new to me, and I was satisfied with quality and viscosity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Darkest green This is a very nice dark dark green, almost black but not quite. Would be perfectly suitable for formal writing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These inks are awful They bleed worse than any I've used. Try them only in the driest of pens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate Perfect dark pine colour once an even flow is achieved.
