Nice blue ink. Very smooth ink, with a constant even flow that makes it suitable for even the most ink hungry of pens.

Smooth, beautiful and special	February 18, 2013

I was tired of all those conventional blue inks so I bought this one for my new Namiki Falcon pen, which I also bought from Goulet. The ink is really lovely and the bottle and packaging are special.

I just bought a Namiki Falcon pen with a soft fine nib and I use it with this ink. The result is beautiful. I find that the ink doesn't dry as quickly as other inks I have but the drying time isn't too bad.

I really love the Iroshizuku Asa-gao ink, it's one of my favorites for extra fine nibs, but somehow, this ink just didn't do it for me. It's a wonderful ink in that it behaves well and has good lubrication, but the color just seemed off for some reason. Not enough blue, perhaps? To each his own.

This ink looks great from broader nibs. It's a bit more of a dark grey-blue from fine nibs. As with all Iroshizuku inks I've tried so far, it's very well-behaved on many types of paper and in both of the pens I've inked with it.

If you're looking for a professional-looking ink with a little bit of character, this is a good choice. The big question is the price tag.

It's this color easily works for both office work as well as private journaling. I find it to be a very restful color. This brand of ink seems to work best in pens that write marginally with other heavy inks. I own two other colors from this manufacture and have found them to always flow easily and well under the page no matter what pen or nib.

This blue-black ink represents exactly what I imagine in my head when I think of a blue-black. It's well formulated; not too blue, not too black and it looks beautiful on any page. Amazingly well behaved.

I gave this ink a try in my Lamy Vista Medium Nib and I didn't particularly care for it; however, once I put it in my Namiki Falcon Soft Fine, I found this ink to be magical. The depth of shading is just spectacular and yet it is subtle enough to use as an everyday note-taking ink.
