Perfect Product! |

Everything about this notebook exceeded my expectations. My decision was between the Webnotebook and the Habana. I made the right call. Even though the paper is 5g lighter than its competitor, there were no bleed through troubles. That's saying something; I used a pointed dip flex pen with India ink... The leather feels great, the back pocket holds a decent amount, and the elastic stays fairly tight. As you'd expect, it takes a while to dry if you're using a saturated ink and a wet pen. Be sure to check if it's dry before you close this journal or the opposite page Can get sloppy. The margins are perfect for anything at or below a medium nib. I'd feel cramped if it was more than a medium. Don't hesitate with this product! It's a keeper.

I have nothing but great things to say. Wonderfully smooth paper, great hold-out, a ribbon bookmark and a bungee closure.
A dream to write on.

I have been using the 6.25x9.25 Quo Vadis Habana for personal journaling for over a year now. The paper is high quality. No problem writing on both sides, which in the end, saves money by making full use of the paper. I use a variety of vintage and contemporary fountain pens for my journals. The Habana handles all ink flow characteristics with ease; and there is no bleed-through. I like dealing with the Goulet Pen Co. The prices are good; shipping is fast and reasonable; and my items always arrive with a personal touch that bespeaks the seller actually cares about quality and customer satisfaction. I especially like dealing with this new generation of entrepreneurs like Brian and Rachel Goulet. They and their crew represent what is good about America and why people of my generation can be hopeful about the future of our great nation.

This is the best notebook I've ever owned; the leather is velvety smooth, and the Clairefontaine pages are the perfect shade of off-white. A true work of art. Heads up though, the line spacing is pretty narrow and won't be suitable for nibs bigger than 1mm.
