60ml bottle of Platinum Pigmented Blue fountain pen ink. Platinum Blue Pigment Ink is pigmented in order to improve its water-resisting property, light stability and heat-resisting qualities, while other inks might be illusive water-based dyes. Blue Pigment Ink is thus suitable for important documents requiring archival qualities. This ink has many fine art applications, but many users enjoy its performance in fountain pens.

Perfect blue January 23, 2013
Reviewer: William Musa from Central City Philadelphia PA
This ink in a Noodler's basic piston filler with flex nib has an astounding effect.  It shades beautifully, almost like a blue black ink, but still a noticeable blue.
I recommend this ink for high risk jobs,  it is probably the most water/ chemical resistant blue I have run into, second to non accept maybe Noodler's Bay State.  I used quite a bit of my bottle thus far, it is such a pleasing color to me that I can not stop using it.

Do note this ink is permanent, pigmented ink.  If it dries it will clog your pen, requiring cleaning.  Don't let it sit in there too long.

Strange after a few days October 11, 2012
Reviewer: Todd Georgopapadakos from Honolulu, HI United States
One of my favorite inks is the Mont Blanc Royal Blue and this ink is similar in hue although it is a little lighter. somehow it seems that the pigment separated after leaving the ink in a pen for a few days in two separate pens. I am not sure if this is due to a contamination issue or what but the ink got lighter colored and more watery.

has a bit of purple March 29, 2012

this is great, doesn't bleed on cheap paper, feels wet from a pen, and waterproof, washes easily. it's just that is has a bit of purple in it.

This might be the real thing May 9, 2011
Reviewer: H. Doug Matsuoka from Honolulu, HI United States
I'm an aficionado of blue and blue blacks.  And of waterproof or "bulletproof" inks.  Because of this, most of my inks have been from Noodler's.  To my eye most of the current bulletproof Noodler's blues have a greenish or aqua tint which is fine but some may prefer a colder blue.  Pigment Blue seems to change hue depending on the paper it writes on.  In my Kunst & Papier it is a wonderful blue, and on some postcards a hue bordering on purple.  It has a very consistent flow and is very well behaved.  A bit pricey but worth it, in my opinion.
