Engineered April 8, 2013
Reviewer: R Johnson from North Port, FL United States
I agree with Brian about this pen, it's very cool.  And a very fine nib, for sure; get a Medium or Broad if you don't like a good bit of tooth on cheap paper.  Makes a nice sound since my handwriting involves fast swoops.  . The pen has a kind of bulletproof demeanor, feels tough, looks sleek and is very nicely machined.  The Con-70 pump converter is a vast improvement over the twist-em type converters and works very well.  Good tip someone had to pump slowly, it works great if you do.

Gouletpens and Inknouveau are the best---where else do we get such a well-rounded site with education, news, unparalleled helpful aids , customer service par excellance and.........humor!
Looking to buoy your spirits?  Fire up Inknouveau to make you smile.

My favorite pen March 22, 2013
Reviewer: Jake from Kaysville, UT United States
I use other fountain pens for specific purposes and dedicated inks and leave them at home or at work. I take the Pilot 74 with me almost everywhere I go. It's classy looking and works flawlessly. Goulet Pen's Nib Nook and pen reviews were very useful in helping to make my purchase decision. What was even more unique was the email chain with Brian Goulet making pen and nib distinctions to assist me in my choice. How does he have time to do that? It was a big purchase for me, but just one individual sale for the Goulet Pen Company. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Too Scratchy June 17, 2012
Reviewer: Andrew from Lowell, MA United States
I purchased this pen after reading several good reviews. I was anxious to try it and loaded it up with the Iroshizuku Ku-jaku. I use kon-peki all the time and love it. I tried to like this pen but could not. I ordered the fine and it felt like ExEx Fine to me. The lovely Iroshizuku Ku-jaku didn't even help out here. Whether 'feedback' or 'scratchiness' doesn't matter, I just did not care for it.  I contacted the good folks at Goulet and arranged an exchange for an Edison Nouveau Premier Cappuccino - Med. WOW!  I will write of that pen in the Edison Section.

A beautiful smooth pen February 8, 2012
Reviewer: George Callobre from Skokie, IL United States
The Pilot 74 was a great find. I enjoy the Violet shade of the pen and the fact that it's a demonstrator makes it fun to look at when I use it. The Fine nib is very smooth and works immediately every time I put the pen to paper. The 74 is a joy to use, and I'm having fun filling it with Diamine Imperial Purple ink for a Violet/Purple experience.
