Blackest of the black, thickest of the thick April 7, 2014
Reviewer: Matt C. from Germany
While this ink is certainly as black as some of the more well known blacks (Noodler's black, Iroshizuki), it changes the characteristics of nibs, and I've never seen an ink do that.

It flows out so thick and wet that my Lamy fine nib writes like a medium-broad. Not too happy with it for this, but I wonder if it's just because of the brand.

I also noticed a very chemical rich paint like smell from the bottle, where my Lamy and Noodler's inks are pleasant, more natural smelling. I'd expect to find a liter of this OS Darwin black under the sink with other chemical cleaners.

BLACK, BLACK March 31, 2014
Reviewer: Dennis from Houston, Texas
A really SOLID black without hints of any other color undertone. Very fast drying (I'm a lefty). But, significant bleed-through on most papers with a medium nib - needs a fine/x-fine nib.

Heavy, but great March 21, 2014
Reviewer: Holly Pribilski from APO, AE United States
This ink is a little heavy and will bleed through regular paper, but it does dry quickly which is the best part and the dark black is nice for art projects.  I would stick to a Fine nib if possible.
