A nice gray ink. July 1, 2014

A very nice gray ink for any purpose. Flows well and dark enough for business or pleasure. Works well in fine nibs and greater. Very pleased with it and plan to order more.

Perfect shading with Extra-Fine Nib May 28, 2014
Reviewer: Adam O from Virginia
This ink became my favorite as soon as I saw the subtle fading it produces from my extra fine Lamy Safari.

I would not recommend this ink in a wet pen; for example, my Noodler's Konrad is on the wet side, and its lines showed no fading.

I replaced Iroshizuku Shin-Kai (Deep Sea) with OS Arsenic in my daily carry pen, and looking back through my notebook, I was stunned to notice that the Arsenic's gray tone was more legible on the Rhodia graph paper because it contrasts better with the purple Rhodia graph lines than does the Shin-Kai's blue/black ink.

Organics Studio is a young, classy company.  I didn't think I'd like the label on this bottle, but in person I've realized that this simple off-center label is not an afterthought, rather it's an elegant homage to 19th century chemists.  Dr. Jekyll would be proud to have this bottle on his shelf!

Although I would prefer a glass bottle, I display this ink proudly on my desk, along with my Iroshizuku.
