Perfect for me! May 15, 2013
Reviewer: Bad Girl Bex from Isle of Man, Great Britain
I bought this ink because I was looking for a shade that represented that murky, bleak, greeny-blue-grey color that the sea turns during an autumnal squall; the kind that makes the sky come in close with thunderous rage, stirs up the sea-bed & creates waves too high for any boat to consider leaving port.

This ink IS that exact colour of the sea during a proper howling storm!

I use it to write in my Paperblanks journal and in letters to pen-pals (on a Rhodia+ lined ivory vellum tablet). It's loaded into a Lamy Safari (the nice stealthy looking, charcoal colored one in case you're wondering) with a Fine nib. I don't get any of the issues people have reported with feathering and bleedthrough, or the intentional halo-effect; except for the one time I reached for it at work, to sign some company docs and realised what crap copy paper they were using!

As with all Noodler's Inks, I would recommend buying a sample 1st, to see how it gets on with your pens & paper, b4 buying a bottle.

Nice color, fun to use March 21, 2013
Reviewer: Michael Johas Teener from Santa Cruz, CA United States
Given the two component nature, the results on different papers gave radically different results ... and that's not bad, just interesting. The blue component feathers and bleeds like crazy, so it's not one to use on cheap paper *if* the bleed through is a problem ... cheap paper is fun to use, however, for one-sided applications, since the blue feathering can be dramatic.

Usefulness February 24, 2013
Reviewer: Robert Marshall from Dahlonega, GA United States
Brian was asking what we might use this ink for... and I like it both for letter writing as well for inking in water on hand-drawn maps and other fine pen work. It's a very nice ink with an unusual coloring and effect regardless of the paper. It does not feather, but does halo, especially on vellum. It's one I will continue to use, though not for business correspondence.

great ink February 18, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Washington, DC United States
this ink lives up to its reviews and I really like it although it does have some bleed through on thin graph notebook paper and a a little on lined notebook paper I would not call this so much a blue but a blue turquoise instead

Adore this ink February 1, 2013
Reviewer: Yvonne Kirk from Picton, nsw Australia
I had forgotten that I had ordered this ink from the botton shelf so, it was a surprise when it arrived.
I had reservations due to the bleeding issue, but after trialling this in my vanishing point (fine nib) I am in love. Its the perfect sea green/blue colour I was looking for.
It dries nicely but if I write on damp paper the blue bleeding occurs but the ink is well behaved on most papers even copy paper.
Love it!! If you are looking for sea/ocean colour then this is the ink for you.
