The Best Notebook for Drafting a Book October 12, 2014
Reviewer: Jesse Waldrop from Saint Paul, MN, USA
Update 10/12/14: After more extensive use, and compared to other notebooks, I've decided that the paper quality of this journal is not quite as good as what Rhodia and Quo Vadis offer. It is a good journal, but don't expect buttery smooth writing.

The paper quality is just fantastic. I'm not a fountain pen expert, in fact the Lamy Safari I just purchased was the first I've ever used, but writing in this with a fountain pen is a joy. It fact it has replaced my laptop & word processor as my go to format for first drafts.

I am working on a first draft to a book, this is the journal I decided to go with to do so. I plan on buying more as the need arises.

Great Product September 10, 2014
Reviewer: Harvey
Bought this product for the first time. I have always been a user of Moleskine journals but wanted something of better quality for a change. The paper is not only great for my regular pens but works really well with my fountain pen as well (Sheaffer 100). If you're looking for a master sized notebook, then you should definitely give this a try. Will not disappoint!

Decent Notebook July 17, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
This notebook is pretty good. It is solidly constructed. The paper is certainly better than a standard composition notebook, but not as good as clarefontaine or similar papers. Wetter pens will bleed through a bit, although I haven't had feathering. My main problem is that the format of the notebook makes it so that there is surprisingly little writing space per page, given the size of said pages. The lines are very wide and the margins are too. If that is something you like, this notebook offers a lot of fairly good quality paper for a reasonable price.

Nearly Perfect July 16, 2014
Reviewer: Elvis Rowe from Henderson, NV United States
Having used Leuchtturm Large notebooks previously I didn't like the narrowed ruling.  I constantly felt cramped when trying to write.  I decided to change to a Master because of the wider ruling and I'm glad I did.

When I write using the Master I don't feel as constrained as when I would use the large.  My writing can flow more easily and I can write longer.

The paper is outstanding and there is little to no bleed through.  I write using a Pilot Precise v5 black and only see bleeding when my pen lingers.

I will definitely continue with Master size notebooks in the future unless Leuchtturm is planning a wide ruled Large notebook in the immediate future.

Nice But July 15, 2014
Reviewer: FP fan from PA from PA United States
These is a nice large master notebook, the binding is great the ruling is perfect and there are plenty of pages and as it is very large you can write a lot of each page. But the bleed through is terrible on anything but an extra fine and even that may bleed through depending on ink and color so therefore I can only write on 1 side of the paper, I would expect that of there cheaper and smaller notebooks but I expected better on this. A lot of inks feather on this paper as well sort of hit and miss with that.
