I bought this as an engineering notebook and couldn't be happier with it. The quality is outstanding, the page layout is perfect, and the paper works great with technical style pens like staedtler and pigma microns. Goulet Pens was one of the few retailers that carry Leuchtturm1917, and their video reviews sealed the deal for me. It was delivered quickly, packed well, and the attention to detail matched that of the notebook. If they started carrying technical pens I probably wouldn't shop anywhere else for ink and paper.

Actually the Slim Master

Very nice book. The paper, in my opinion, is better than Moleskine and not quite as nice as Rhodia. The price for the value, however is unbelievable. When I ordered this one, I also ordered a Large in the quad graph. I find that I use the Slim Master about 95% of the time.
I love the size...bigger than the A4...C4? Any road, the size is perfect for how I write and think. Each page is a snapshot of a brainstorm. Poems, thoughts on politics, thoughts on fashion, notes from a meeting, a sketch of a tent I want to construct, AUC plotted and calculated on a graph. Turn the page...we find a drawing of a steamer trunk I wish I had and a short story about a girl and her father. Of course the margins are full of notes on ink color, nib style, and thoughts. I even used it for keeping score on a recent card game!
It's a notebook that organizes my cluttered mind. Everything spills onto the pages, but everything fits. I'm ordering another...and I'm only 8 pages deep!
