aesthetic and functional perfection October 25, 2014
Reviewer: Carole from Mississauga, ON Canada
This pen was on my bucket list (yes-really, along with cycling the Amalfi coast). I have been using it for a couple of months now and enjoy it every day. I write all day - sitting across from patients I take notes as they talk to me. This pen has increased my enjoyment of the process immeasurably. It doesn't dry out between scribbles, is beautifully understated, and never skips a beat. I also have loved dealing with the Goulets, and they should consider themselves the Lamy of the pen service world!! Understated, professional, reliable and elegant! When I thought my last delivery had gone missing (my neighbour had taken it in for safe keeping but didn't leave a note) they were on it right away and reassured me there would be no problem replacing it. I just placed another order and feel completely assured in the quality of what I will receive (and I am hoping for another lollipop). Great pen, great service, great writing times.....

Some classics never get old. October 21, 2014
Reviewer: Robert from PA, United States
After reading a significant number of articles and small blogs about the L2K I purchased a fine which writes like a german fine.  It's more of in between the pilot japan F and M nibs.

The grind on this pen is amazing.  Getting into a writing groove is easy and effortless.  No fatigue, no babies bottom, no leaking, and no regrets.  Some classics really never get old.

Amazing! September 21, 2014
Reviewer: Riley Vann from Morristown, NJ United States
I can't say enough about how this pen feels in my hand.  It feels substantial and firm.  The body is ready to work as opposed to so many fountain pens I've seen meant to sit on a stand on the desktop for looks.  My one concern is the nib is indeed fine and I might've enjoyed a medium nib more.  Still, that's one me and not the pen.  When, more likely *if*, this pen wears out, I'll get a chance to try it.  Till then, I'll make do with the best fountain pen I've ever owned.

Excellent pen September 3, 2014
Reviewer: DM from PA United States
My first Lamy 2000 (Fine Point) gave me some problems (a bit scratchy).  Worked with Drew (who provided EXCELLENT, personalized support by the way) to get this issue resolved.  Now, it's perfect!  LOVE this pen.  It's my day-to-day work horse.  A bit pricey, but worth the price.
