My first pen with a BROAD nib March 18, 2014
Reviewer: Karl Doblinger from Weston, FL United States
and I am LOVING it. This pen is an absolute joy to use and the broad nib is awesome. I am amazed how much difference in line width the paper actually makes. And I am finally zeroing in on my favorite paper. So far, the Rhodia has been a forerunner, but I just got my first Clairefontaine notepads and I absolutely love them. And I got a bottle of Noodlers Turquoise Eel to go with that pen, very nice choice.

And, even though this is getting boring, Goulet service above and beyond again.

Solid Pen January 6, 2014
Reviewer: Michael Marchesan from Saugus, CA United States
I like the definitive snap of clicking the pen closed, and the weight/appearance, they all exude "quality".  However, the pen posts quite nicely but the open end of the cap does not make contact with the pen body and moves around which feels a little cheap. I purchased the extra fine nib, which though I prefer very very fine nibs, I feel this nib for most would work great, very smooth. Also, please note, nib writing width I found is HIGHLY dependent on the paper you use it with.  I would say this writes "Lamy" extra fine on smoother paper but write "Lamy" medium on toothy and gritty paper.

not pleased June 3, 2013
Reviewer: Al from Arvada
I got this pen for myself as a Christmas present. I have used it regularly for the last few months. However, I have noticed over the last couple months the cap has loosed up quite a bit. At first I thought it was the retaining ring at the base of the nib, I was wrong. I was able to take the cap apart and found that the cheap plastic inner cap has stretched. This now allows about a millimeter of play when the pen is capped. I'm sure the plastic has stretched from capping and uncapping the pen. But I feel that for the price of this pen, it should have held up better.

Nice price.. great pen! March 11, 2013
Reviewer: Nancy Dute from Cypress, TX United States
The stainless steel Lamy Studio is far nicer than it appears in pictures!  It has a wonderful lined texture running the full length of the pen and feels really neat in the hand.  I have several other Lamy's, however am very fond of the weight with this one in contrast to the Al-Star and Safari models.  The 1.1 nib is wonderful, making such superb line variation.  I also noted that the cap posts with a nice little click, and does not rub on the body at all.  If you like to post the cap, you will not damage the pen body in any way. Lastly, the price.. wow, a great deal!

Great pen, Great ink flow January 15, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from wayne, PA United States
I got this pen because it was the cheapest of the studio series and yet it still like the texture of the pen on here. I've so far used the Lamy cartridge in here and also using Noodler's blue-black ink and the flow is nice and even. also if your wondering what kind of nib to get i would recommend the fine nib.... have fun if you do get it =D
