Lamy Studio Fountain Pen - Palladium is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from My go to LAMY So, i own a couple LAMYs. A 2K, Dialog 3, and now this. Of the three, i like the studio, then 2k, then dialog 3. The 2k is the perfect width and tapers the way i like, but i dislike the ears where the cap snaps on and the hooded nib is picky about which ink i use. The studio is thinner than the 2k and a bit heavier. But the nib is not hooded (14k gold) and has some spring to it as well as being silky smooth. It takes any type of ink i have given it too. The palladium finish is satin, so my fingers grip the pen well. The cap snaps onto the front or back for posting. Overall, i like using this daily and noticed that it has replaced my other LAMYs in my pen rotation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Pen, but finish can stain The Studio is one of my favorite go-to pens for daily use. I have 2, one red, and one palladium. My only problem with the palladium Studio is the finish can stain with some inks. BSB stains, but comes out with a quick rub of alcohol. Noodlers Black leaves a a very light grey discoloration that even bleach wont get out. If you buy this pen, be prepared to have to take the converter out to fill it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pen but medium seems broad Depends on the ink you use-- tried Noodler's Baystate Blue and while thee pen and ink work well, user error probably causes more of a broad line than medium. As usual, Goulet rules. Look to them first -customer service is impeccable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful pen I've had this pen for over a month and write with it at least an few hours each week. This is a stunning pen in terms of how it looks. I debated between this palladium and the platinum and went with this metal because I knew fingerprints all over the pen would annoy me, and I am extremely happy with my choice. The styling, including the rudder-looking clip is very classy, yet simple. The only issue that I've been having is that after a page or two of writing, the ink isn't as dark on the page. Admittedly I'm not sure if this is a pen problem, a nib problem (I'm using the 1.1mm stub) or an ink problem (I'm using Iroshizuku Kiri-Same). My hunch is that my hand is getting tired and so the pen spins in my hand, causing less contact of the nib with the paper. I would recommend this pen to everyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made pen The fit and finish of this pen is excellent. Good feel and balance. My only wish is for a slightly finer tip than EF.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful pen, usual impeccable Lamy quality Love this pen, the finish is great, and the nib is the usual first class nib. I love the Lamy Studios.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lamy Studo Palladium gold nib, broad The gold broad nib is very smooth, which is one of the reasons I bought this pen, However, griping the pen is a problem because of it's small diameter but more because it is so slick. It would have been better, for me to have a brushed finish. Any option other than such a smooth finish. I tend to buy larger pens for my hand and grip, and would not buy this pen again for that reason or had the opportunity to test it before buying,
