If you are looking for a genuine dark blue, as against a so-called blue-black--that is, a dark blue that retains a high degree of color saturation, rather than being darkened by gray--this ink is one to consider. It also has a surprising degree of shading for such a dark color. Good consistency (i.e., not watery).

Not the most exciting color, good for business.

This one looked darker than the swab on my rhodia paper with pilot prera M (a dry-ish nib). If you want a rich saturated dark blue this isn't it. Not a blue black, more of a denim in twilight color. Was also named "Business Ink For Successful Men" but not quite as boring as that makes it sound.
