INK SAMPLE - Noodler's Bad Green Gator is rated 3.9592 out of 5 by 49.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, just not my color This ink worked quite well in the Noodler's Ahab I had fitted with a Knox K35 nib (from xfountainpens.com) - good wet flow and lubrication. There was some nib creep and the ink is a bit prone to staining or sticking to the nib during attempt to wash it (not a big problem though.) It works well, but it isn't quite the color shown in the swab here on my screen. If you've ever played with LEGO bricks, this ink looks similar to the standard green brick color. I was hoping for a darker green, and tired of the color fairly quickly. This is not a fault of the ink - I simply prefer darker colors. Noodler's Sequoia will probably be the next attempt at finding a good green.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad Green Gator My primary green in has been Green Marine for quite some time, but I always like trying out new greens to see if they're an improvement. In my opinion, Bad Green Gator is not. It spreads out on the page so my XF looks like an FM. Feathering is slight, but present, especially on non-premium papers. Bleedthrough not intolerable, but worse than I'd like on even on premium papers. FWIW, the color is nice. It's less bright than Green Marine. You wouldn't mistake it for black by any means; it's just a deeper Forest-y green.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad to the bone I never thought I'd love a green ink but this one's gray tones give it some class. It seems to flow better than the average ink. Even though it's green, I can use it for business purposes without people thinking I'm a teenage girl (as long as I refrain from dotting my i's with little hearts).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad gator I'm having trouble loving this ink. The color is delightfully unique, but the ink comes out so fast that it seems determined to feather on every surface, including clairefontaine 90g paper. It does seem to dry fast and it is quite water proof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color, smooth ink I saw a friend had this in his pen and it looked far less dark then the images on the website make it look. I do not know how this sould look form a flex nib, but from a Lamy Safari/Al-Star with an even flow, this is a nice solid dark green, but not so dark as to look black. couple this with the Noodler's Warden line of colors, and you have a great looking and secure ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The money! This is a wonderful green ink. It flows well, dries quickly, and has a dignified muted tone to it. Looks like you could draw a five-dollar bill with it. No shading that I could see once it dries, and I noticed a little nib creep, but those are not big deals to me. Bad Green Gator is a good choice for a green that doesn't scream leprechaun.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very bleedy This ink bleeds more than any other ink I have tried. (dozens) Even in my driest finest pens I still got feathering even on Rhoda paper. For me this is a problem. The color is OK but not really great for me. I couldn't get past the feathering and bleeding.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice ink, but not in love with the color The sample shown on this site shows a near-black green. This is not. It is an interesting green, certainly - a little lighter than the green of a dollar bill. It is a wet, free-flowing ink that performs very nicely on my Black n Red notebook, coming out of my Lamy XF nib. It's a nice ink, and is interesting for its bulletproof properties, but I don't think it will be one of my everyday choices...
