Excellent, excellent paper. October 24, 2014
Reviewer: John Dunn from Springfield, MO United States
I was looking for "something new" in the fine paper/stationery department and saw this on the Goulet Pens website. Gratitude to Goulet Pen Company for the video Brian Goulet did on this G. Lalo paper because when I saw his video review I thought "maybe this is what I'm looking for". I ordered the A5 sized tablet in ivory and I love it! It is slightly textured on one side just as everyone has said, but even with a relatively cheap Jinhao (Chinese) fountain pen it works wonderfully. Try the ivory color with a rich, golden-brown colored ink like Noodler's Kiowa Pecan like Brian did in that video (yes, I'm starting to sound like a "Goulet Pen commercial... sorry about that) and your hand written letters will look beautiful. Just as everyone else has said there is no bleed thru, "ghosting" or feathering. I think I'll try the lavender one next with some sort of nice purple-shade of ink.

Good choice. September 29, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from LA CROSSE, WI United States
I needed a good fountain pen-friendly correspondence set to write letters to my wife.

This tablet has fit the bill. Whether I've been using my Lamy 2000 with one of Noodler's Bulletproof inks, my Parker 21with a J. Herbin ink, or my Pilot Metropolitan with Diamine ink, this tablet writes beautifully with no feathering or bleeding.

The cardboard backing is a little flimsy and needs a hard surface for support. That's not really a complaint.

I liked the paper so much that I'm on my second tablet.

Excellent letter paper July 6, 2014
Reviewer: Adrian from SAN FRANCISCO, CA United States
If you like a paper with some character and feedback for letter writing this one is for you. I'm usually a Clairefontaine only user - but for letters this paper is interesting - it has more character and feedback, and the ivory color is less sterile than the pure white of many papers.

I am so enjoying this paper and the weight of it makes me feel like I have old fashioned paper in my hands.
