Edison Nouveau Encore Fountain Pen - Turquoise Lgn September 12, 2012
Reviewer: Roger D. Priest from Lafayette, IN United States
Thoreau/Edison Nouveau Encore in Turquoise Lagoon, .7 italic:;  It went to work here at the college, fresh out of the box, and is a 5-star success for grading and memo writing in smaller spaces.  But (surprise) it's the color and pattern which win my eye and make me draw it first, most often among the pens I carry.
Well-done, everyone who had a hand in this beauty, from concept & design to execution & customization.

The Perfect Pen September 11, 2012
Reviewer: Mary from Mobile, AL United States
I've had my eye on this pen ever since I saw an illustration of it on the Goulet site....I put it on my wish list, and, in a weak moment, placed the order for it.  It exceeded my expectations in every way.  I love the size, color, the design, and the ease of writing with it. Beautiful!

Perfect weight and diameter July 29, 2012
Reviewer: Melinda Fuchs from Coldwater, MI United States
This pen is fabulous!  It is lite weight and the diameter is comfortable.  Beautiful exterior.  The metal does tend to need some coaxing to get the ink flow going after a brief time of no use.  Seems to be sensitive to certain paper.  Perhaps the gold nib would be better.  Despite that, I would highly recommend this pen.

Quality work on pen body, but nib needs some work July 12, 2012
Reviewer: Kent Y. from Japan
The pictures on the website show you EXACTLY what you are going to get, so if you like what you see on the site, you will love the pen in person.

The craftsmanship of the pen is excellent, and I couldn't be happier with it, however, the nib performance out of the box is a bit disappointing.

I think it needs just a bit of adjustment, because my pen has slight nib creep, and there is also a slight flow issue.  It's not skipping, but when writing a page of text, the further down the page I write, the fainter the print becomes (I am using Pilot Iroshizuku Kon Peki).   Also, I don't know if it is just me, but leaving the pen for just a minute uncapped dries out the feed, and I need to shake it to get it going again.

For the price of the pen, and considering that it is such a handcrafted item,  I would have hoped that the nib could have a quick QA check.  Lamy does it, as well as a few other manufacturers who charge much less.

Smooth writer in a small package June 14, 2012
Reviewer: Art Navar from Bensenville, IL United States
This pen writes very smooth and is a fine looking pen. It is a very small pen so it is easy to carry around. Compared to the Hudson it is tiny. If you are looking for a small carry around pen that writes very smooth, get one.
