Edison Beaumont Fountain Pen - Bedrock Flake March 19, 2013
Reviewer: Anthony Lowe from Edina, MN United States
Nice pen.  Love that it is US made.  Well...OK the nib and guts are from Germany, but Edison is a US company, I believe.  It's not made in China.  The pen is a great value against the big names.  The "color" of this pen and its finish are very attractive.  Not a real "loud" pen, but a good performer and a classic looker.  Doesn't scream quality, but certainly whispers it so loudly you can't help but notice.  It's light, but balances and feels nice.  As always, Goulet is a great site for info -- watch the videos -- they're accurate.  They tell you what you're going to get.  Goulet delivery is fast and friendly.  Best pen sellers I've found.  Very knowledgeable.

Beautiful March 1, 2013
Reviewer: Sue Collister from Lakewood, OH United States
This pen is a lovely object to behold, to hold, and to use. The photographs don't quite capture the sense of depth and varied reflection seen with the eye in the flakes. The surface is polished to a satiny gloss that is not slippery and a tactile pleasure. The nib is also lovely, flowing smoothly and responsively. My only negative would be that I find the section tapered a bit more narrowly than I would find ideal, but with the cap posted (which does NOT cause balance or weight distribution issues) I grip a bit higher than I might otherwise, but once I do it feels fine. I love my pen.

super pen, highly recommended March 1, 2013
Reviewer: purushothama rajashekar from Charlotte, NC United States
The small(not too small) pen size and a very large nib is a great combination. i get , good control over my writing and nib goes where i want it to go. perfect size as pocket carry pen.

Marvelous pen December 28, 2012
Reviewer: Amberjack from Colorado
I received a Bedrock Flake fine point for Christmas from my lovely wife and am truly enjoying it.
As another reviewer mentioned, this pen os on the smaller side, just perfect for me to tuck away in a vest or short pocket with my ever prsent Field Notes. Don't let the word small mislead you though, as the Beaumont, when posted is nicely sized and balanced. The fine point, two-tone nib is indeed smooth and wetter than my comparable Parkers, although not as wet as a Pelikan (what is?).  The 'bedrock' resin is glossy and deep, with various earth-toned inclusions that remind my of my days in the optical mineralogy lab (geologists will know what I'm talkng about. All-in-all, this pen meets or exceeds the superlatives I've read about Edison pens, and I would not hesitate to pick one up.

Pen writes really smoothly! Great pen! October 18, 2012
Reviewer: Diane Maher from Granite City, IL United States
I really like this pen.  So far, I have put two different inks in it and it writes very smoothly with each.  I would highly recommend this pen to others.  It is much lighter than I thought it would be.  This review is for the broad 18k rhodium plated nib.
