Just what I needed October 29, 2014
Reviewer: Stu Farnham from Walla Walla, WA United States
I'm going to post identical reviews for this item and the Rhoda Classic notebook in the same binding and size.
I used fountain pens as my daily carry for years until the prevalence of pressure sensitive multipart forms and low quality paper made them impractical for daily use. The multipart forms have gone the way of the credit card imprint machine, and I have switched back. All I needed to be completely happy with the switch was decent paper at a price I could afford to use daily.
This notebook meets all my needs. The paper is a pleasure to write on and does not feather, bleed, or ghost. The notebook is of a practical size and it is thin enough that there is no "cliff" at any edge to interfere with use of the full page. I have a very slight preference for the Clairefontaine based on the feel of the paper, but it's not a big deal.
And -- ta-daaa! the price is right.
Now I use my pens daily and am asked all the time what kind of pen that is that I'm writing with ...

Solid Notebook September 17, 2014
Reviewer: Apiprach Sittipongpittaya from Charlottesville, VA United States
I use them for college note-taking and am absolutely loving them. This, with my Parker 51 and Noodler's HoD, is the smoothest writing combination I've tried. The paper is of excellent quality and the bindings seem to hold the notebook well.

Just Awesome! September 3, 2014
Reviewer: Elle
Really, really well priced for the product you get. They are just as beautiful as shown in the photos, and quality is obviously top-notch. I like the blank label on the front especially, it writes so well and makes your handwriting (even if poor) look awesome. They are indeed more fragile than the hardcover ones, but in my opinion they are more worth it than the hardcovers in terms of price.

Great Paper! June 9, 2014
Reviewer: Daniel from Norman, OK United States
This paper is extremely smooth, and seems to absorb ink very well!  I haven't noticed any bleed-through either.  I am overall satisfied with the paper, and will probably buy it again.

1951 Line of Notebooks March 18, 2014
Reviewer: Jimmy Offutt from Harrison, AR United States
My favorite knock-around notebook.  I think I've got about 25 of these, so far.  Very useful size, above average paper.  (Could be slow-drying, depending on your ink).

I just wish they made this one, with blank paper.
