Works greay as expected July 21, 2014
Reviewer: Myles Mallette from Toronto, ON Canada
The nib makes a beautiful broad line with no scratching, an excellent accessory for Lamy pen users.

Lamy Steel Nib-Broad February 7, 2014
Reviewer: Jerry Rodriguez from El Paso, TX United States
I have a fine and a broad Lamy nibs; they seem to write a bit dry on cheap paper (using Waterman Serenity Blue, and Noodler's Black), but do write wetter on clairefontaine paper. Perhaps It is only my particular nibs that write dry-ish, your experience may differ. Anyhow, they don't write dry in a bad way. The line of ink is evenly and cleanly laid down on the paper, as if though some type of felt tip was used. Dry time is quick with these nibs, even the broad. My preference used to be fine nibs, but the broad nib is so pleasant to use, that I now prefer it to the fine. The broad nib is smoother, and by nature less scratchy (not that the fine nib is scratchy). By comparison, a Goulet nib will deposit ink thicker (what I mean, is vertical layer wise; I have an old Sheaffer with a fine nib which even though the line width is by all means fine, the ink is sort of "caked" on top of itself, producing a thick, rich-bodied line).

I highly recommend this nib.

Very Smooth January 20, 2014
Reviewer: Phillip Tracy from Chester, VA United States
The Broad Lamy Safari nib, outfitted on my Lamy Vista produces a thick and reliable line of ink. I like using the broad nib because it allows the ink to show its true color. It is significantly smoother than a Lamy EF and is the smoothest in the line of Lamy nibs. Highly recommended product.

Nice Upgrade to my Lamy Studio January 20, 2014
Reviewer: Tom T. from Charlottesville, VA United States
My Lamy Studio came with a medium nib, but I wanted to try out Broad. I slid off the medium and replaced it with broad. Now my pen is smoother, and lays down a think and wet line. Highly recommenddd.
