Rhodia Medium Webnotebook - Black, Lined (5.51 x8.27) is rated 4.7292 out of 5 by 48.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comparison with Quo Vadis Habana My first journal from Goulet Pens was the Habana. I was pleased with the black one I received. Liked the size, the Clairefontaine paper, and the way it lays flat. After filling that journal, I ordered a green one. The paper seemed thinner, and my music pens bled through enough that I couldn't write on the back side. First Habana did not do this. So the Goulets exchanged it for a Webnotebook. The paper is 90g instead of 85g, and does not bleed through. I also like the wider ruling - 7mm instead of 5.5mm. I like the size (slightly larger/taller) and shape of the Quo Vadis better. Still not sure what I'll get next time. Hope this was helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite of them all I use this type of premium notebook for my work (I'm a novelist, and I save all my notebooks), and I have tried all the premiums. This is the one I am sticking with. I also gave the Habana five stars, because it's quality is very, very high also, but the cover is flexible, and I can't write in it propped up in bed (I'm lazy, and this is a dealbreaker). I prefer to the lines to the dots -- for some reason the dots didn't keep my writing corralled as neatly as I had imagined. This notebook is simply SUPERB. Great size, cover feels nice, (and is super stiff) and I don't need to comment on how too Rhodia paper is. Viva la Webbie!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best journal for fountain pens I've found. I purchased one of these recently to use as a journal when I had filled up my previous no-name journal. The paper is exceptionally smooth, and pleasurable to write on. I have used a whole variety of inks and pens (I use a different combination on every entry) and I have never had any feathering or bleedthrough. There can be a bit of ghosting with darker inks, but I only tend to see that when the paper is backlit. Keep the pages flat, and you can't see the previous writing. The pocket in the back is nice. It lays relatively, but perhaps not perfectly, flat. The ribbon is ridiculously short (almost to the point of uselessness), the line spacing is a bit tighter than I usually prefer, and I usually prefer white paper over the ivory. But, overall, I haven't found any other notebooks or hardcover-type journals that can come close to the quality of the Webbie. It will be my default journal for the foreseeable future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing notebook My first reaction was that the webbies are awesome but just not worth it. After some frustrations with cheaper notebooks I'm reversing that. It's hard to find a flaw in these notebooks. The paper is amazing; I think you can just pour a bottle of ink on a page and you will still not have bleed through or ghosting. It's that good. Is it worth paying $25 for them? Well, if you don't write a lot in it the price doesn't really matter that much. And if you *do* write a lot you'd better get these because they're so worth it for prolific writers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Journal Pens: Pelikan M215 Demonstrator Fine, Noodler Ahab Fine, Padrino Tech Medium Inks: Diamine, Herbin, Noodler, Pelikan, Private Reserve, Waterman This is my first Rhodia Webbie and I have to say that like many other people I am impressed. I've been a longtime Moleskine user with no issues (using 4001 and a M215 Extra Fine/Fine) but I decided to go with something more "substantial" for once. Upon getting it, I was already impressed just from the feel and the heft to it. The paper is a huge difference from the Moleskine. After little consideration, I went to writing with it every day. For the longer entries, blotting paper is almost always required. I've tried a small range of pens and a range of inks with the paper. There seems to be only extremes with this paper. Either they performed astonishingly well or there was echo, bleed through, and feathering. Though I will forever carry a small Moleskine with me, for journaling purposes I'm sold on the Rhodia Webbie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THIS NOTEBOOK!!! I ordered this notebook to use as a journal while on a trip to Israel I will be embarking on later this year. I decided to try it out a bit first to see how it feels before I left for Israel, and I have not been able to stop writing in it since. The feel of the pen on its pages is so smooth that it makes writing a pleasure to me (a sensation have never experienced before). I have already filled up half of the pages with drawings (I don't even draw) and writing from notes to quotes and beyond. I might even have to order a few more before I even go on my trip. Beyond that, the customer service I received was excellent, and I plan on continuing to purchase my writing supplies from Brian and Rachel. They have been ever gracious with answering a number of questions that I have had. They have responded almost immediately to any inquiry, and they shipped out my orders incredibly quickly. I recommend this product, and this company to anyone and everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marvelous This is the best notebook I have used. No bleeding no feathering with all my fountain pens and inks. The ivory color is beautiful. No comparision with Moleskine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite I have tried several notebooks, but this one is my favorite. I love the paper, the build quality. I would prefer pure white paper, but it's only a minor gripe.
